Four Afghan migrants detained on charge of fake passports in Thailand

KABUL: The Thai Immigration Office has reported that four Afghan migrants were arrested at the “Pukhet” airport for using fake passports.

According to the office, these individuals were detained while attempting to pass through security checks with fake documents from Kazakhstan.

Among those arrested is one woman.

The incident comes at a time when the Thai government announced that it will begin issuing online visas to Afghans by the coming year.
