KABUL: The Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, met with representatives of the Omani government and the head of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali al-Zad Ali, here in Kabul, the ministry said in a statement.
In the meeting, the head of the Omani Chamber of Commerce expressed interest in investing in the fields of antimony and oil, in addition to offering scholarships for Afghan students.
Mullah Badri assured his-led ministry’s commitment to collaborating in investment within the framework of the mining policy and principles of the Islamic Emirate.
With the establishment of countrywide security, many foreign nations and organizations have shown interest in investing in various sectors of Afghanistan.
