Clean drinking water provided for nearly 1,000 families in Logar and Zabul

KABUL: With the inauguration of two water supply networks, safe drinking water was provided to 857 families in Logar and Zabul provinces, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in separate statements with Radio Omid.

The water supply networks, with the financial support of UNICEF, have been constructed in the Mangal villages, Azra district of Logar, and Badin in the Sayuri district of Zabul province, according to the statement.

With the completion of the projects, safe drinking water has been provided for hundreds of people, and also job opportunities have been provided for dozens of the provinces’ residents.

Ensuring access to safe drinking water is a priority for Emirati institutions and various reputable international organizations active in Afghanistan.
