KABUL: Presided over by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Economic Commission meeting was held at the Marmarin palace, approving the draft procedure for the use of domestic agricultural products.
According to a statement from Arg on Monday, the approved draft will be sent for the final decision to the Office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate.
This legislative document is designed to strengthen the economy of farmers and promote marketing for domestic agricultural products.
In the meeting, the ministries of National Defense, Interior Affairs, the General Directorate of Intelligence, and other Emirati agencies, have been urged to prioritize the use of domestic products in their operations, said the statement. The statement noted that during the meeting, issues including the use of Ghori cement in construction, land transfer to the customs offices at Ghulam Khan and Spin Boldak in Khost and Kandahar provinces, and some other issues were also discussed.
