KABUL: The newly appointed ambassador of Kazakhstan to Afghanistan Gyzyl Akbasov, has stated that his country is ready to invest in the mining and transport sectors in Afghanistan.
He made the remarks in a meeting with the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi, here in Kabul, the ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
In the meeting, the Kazakh ambassador said that a high-level delegation from Kazakhstan will visit Kabul soon and emphasized the importance of expanding and strengthening relations between Kazakhstan and Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Nooruddin Azizi assured that a technical delegation had been selected to prepare for the Kazakh delegation’s visit.
Kazakhstan, as a neighboring country of Afghanistan, currently maintains trade relations, particularly in food supplies.
