KABUL: Leading a delegation Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, the CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, left the country for Tashkent, DABS said in a statement today.
According to the statement, the delegation includes representatives from the Ministries of Finance and Foreign Affairs.
The delegation is set to meet with officials from the Uzbek National Electric Company and various government agencies in Uzbekistan.
The transfer of a 500 KV electricity line from Uzbekistan to the Surkhan-Pul-e-Khumri-Dasht-e-Alwan substations and subsequently to the Shaikh Masri area in Nangarhar province, which will deliver between 800 to 1,000 megawatts of electricity.
The statement emphasized that Breshna Company officials are working to ensure reliable electricity supply for the citizens of Afghanistan.
