KABUL: Fifteen water management projects worth 63 million Afghanis have been implemented within the past months of the ongoing solar year, the Ministry of Water and Energy said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the statement, to better manage and control the country’s water, the projects including the construction of check dams, reservoirs, canals, retaining walls, and water supply networks, have been implemented in Hesa Awal Behsood, Daimirdad, Chak, Jaghatu, Narkh and Saydabad districts of the province.
The projects have been funded by the ministry and a number of international donor organizations, said the statement. Also, survey and design of 33 development projects have been conducted by the provincial Water and Energy Department across the province.
