KABUL: Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat said in a statement today, that the electricity import contract with Uzbekistan has been extended for another year (2025).
According to the statement, the contract was signed between the CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, and the head of the Uzbek National Electric Company.
Earlier, the Afghan and Uzbek officials discussed various issues, including electricity and energy issues.
For the past two days, a joint Emirati delegation led by Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, the CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, has been visiting Uzbekistan.
