IEA express condolences to families of victims of Kabul-Kandahar highway accidents

KABUL: Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, in a statement today, expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the two tragic and deadly traffic incidents on the Kabul-Kandahar highway.

He stated that the relevant organs have been tasked with investigating the causes of the accidents and taking serious measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.

“We wish paradise for the victims and swift recovery for the injured from the Almighty Allah,” Mujahid said.

He also noted that as a result of these traffic accidents, 52 people lost their lives, and 67 others were injured.

Previously, health officials in Ghazni province reported that 46 people had died and 80 others were injured in these events.
