Kazakhstan to help expand railway with Afghanistan

KABUL: The Ministry of Transportation of Kazakhstan said that it was ready to expand the railway project with Afghanistan.

The Deputy Transportation Minister of Kazakh Maksat Kaliakparov said that his country’s companies were committed to providing all rail trucks and other materials necessary for the railway project in Afghanistan.

According to Kazakh media, he made the remark in International Transport and Logistic Market adding that the Kazakh companies were involved in building some parts of the railway project in Afghanistan.
This is to be noted that after ensuring countrywide security, China, Iran, Turkiye and some other countries, including Kazakhstan, have highly been encouraged to invest in Afghanistan.
