Saudi Arabia executed 330 people this year, highest number in decades

KABUL: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has executed more than 330 criminals, the highest number compared to previous years.

This is while the ruler of this country, Mohammad bin Salman, said in 2022 that he would reduce the death penalty.

In Saudi Arabia, 172 criminals were sentenced to death in 2023 and 196 in 2022.

According to the Reuters report, these criminals include more than 100 foreigners, most of whom were convicted of drug trafficking.
