KABUL: The UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, called for an immediate halt to the Israeli regime’s attacks on Yemen and the ongoing conflicts between the parties involved.
He made the remarks in a statement on his X account today, adding that during an airstrike by the Israeli regime on the international airport in Sanaa yesterday, a humanitarian air services staff member from the UN was injured while a delegation led by the head of the World Health Organization was present at the airport.
According to the UN Secretary-General, the recent Zionist regime’s attacks have targeted the international airport in Sanaa, Red Sea ports, and Yemen’s power plants.
Expressing deep concern and regret over these attacks, he emphasized that international laws must be upheld in conflicts, and humanitarian workers and civilians should not be targeted.
It is important to note that Israeli attacks on Yemen have sparked various reactions as well.
