IEA ambassador in Malaysia talk with Otunbayeva about provision of Malaysia’s assistance to Afghanistan

KABUL: Roza Otunbayeva, the head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), has traveled to Kuala Lumpur for discussions with Malaysian officials regarding Afghanistan.

The embassy of the Islamic Emirate in Malaysia, in a statement, said on Friday that Otunbayeva, during her visit to Kuala Lumpur, met with Naqibullah Ahmadi, the Islamic Emirate’s ambassador to Malaysia.

The embassy noted that they discussed the provision of Malaysia’s assistance through UNAMA for Afghanistan.

During her visit, she also met with the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Minister of Religious Affairs of Malaysia.

Malaysia has expanded its cooperation and relations with Afghanistan in various sectors over the past three years of the Islamic Emirate.
