Dozens dead in fiery airplane crash in South Korea

KABUL: At least 62 people were killed after a passenger plane crashed at the runway at Muan International Airport in South Korea on Sunday morning, according to Yonhap News Agency.

According to South Korean authorities, the aircraft was carrying 175 passengers and 6 crew members at the time of the accident.

Officials stated that the aircraft couldn’t succeed in flying, veered off the runway, and crashed.

Investigations into the cause of the incident have begun by the responsible authorities in South Korea.

Notably, similar incidents have not occurred in South Korea in recent years.
