KABUL: A total of 15,640 people have been provided with free health services in Baghlan province of the country in the past month, the Afghan Red Crescent Society said in a statement.
After check-ups, the ARCS’s health personnel have provided free health services to 3,604 individuals across various regions of the province over the past month, the statement said. According to the statement, 275 wounded people were dressed, 1,431 women and children were given vaccinations to prevent various diseases, 8,723 people were given the necessary consultations on health protection, 464 women were given birth control, as well as 983 malnourished children have been given food related to malnutrition and 160 women have been given the necessary consultation in the preparation of family planning, in the past one month.
