KABUL: The International Committee of the Red Cross says that 455 people died or were maimed due to unexploded mines in the last year of 2024.
The foundation said that more than half of the victims are children.
The Red Cross also added that mine victims need urgent assistance.
It should be noted that the Red Cross has been helping Afghans affected by landmines for the past few years.
