KABUL: The Ministry of National Defense said in a statement on Sunday that guided missiles known as “Milan Concours” have been activated in the country.
The missiles are now operational within the structure of the Ministry of National Defense, said the statement, adding: “Missiles are capable of targeting armored tanks, warships, and low-flying helicopters”.
Also, the Ministry of National Defense stated that 13 young personnel of the Islamic National Army have graduated from a training course focused on the use of “Milan Concours” missiles.
The training program was conducted for one month by the Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of National Defense.
During the graduation ceremony, demonstrations related to the use of these guided missiles were held for the 13 graduates.
