China pledged to cooperate in construction of houses for Afghan refugees

KABUL: The Chinese ambassador to Afghanistan, Zhao Xing, in a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, said that his country is pledged to cooperate in the construction of houses for Afghan refugees, Arg said in a statement on Sunday.

Zhao Xing said that his country is ready to build houses for Afghan immigrants who have been expelled from neighboring countries, establish cold storage facilities, and cooperate in agriculture, health, and mining sectors with Afghanistan

Pointing to the growth of trade and investment between the two countries, he asked for the expansion of cooperation between Beijing and Kabul.

Praising China’s investment in various sectors in Afghanistan, Deputy Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi asked the Chinese government to cooperate in the field of electricity generation and equipping hospitals and health centers with modern machinery in the country.
