KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations signed four Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with non-Emirati institutions, valued at $1,466,150.
The ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that the agreements’ purpose is to reduce risks and crises, promote social welfare, and provide beneficial consultation to children affected by war.
According to the statement, the agreements were signed with councils and refugee institutions of Norway and Canada.
Based on the MoUs over 11,000 returning migrant families and internally displaced persons in Nangarhar, Kabul, and Herat provinces will be providing sewing training, creating shelter, and offering counseling, skills training, education, and health services.
