Baloch Liberation Army claims capture of Zahri city in Pakistan’s Balochistan

KABUL: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has said that its forces have succeeded in seizing the city of Zahri in Balochistan, Pakistan, from the control of the country’s security forces.

In a statement on Wednesday, the movement said: “All civilian and military government offices in Khazdar region, Zahri City of Balochistan, are now under their control and one police station has reportedly been set on fire”.

Some videos went viral on social media show armed members of the Baloch Liberation Army, taking the security and control of government offices in Zahri.

So far, the Pakistani government has not commented on this regard.

The Baloch Liberation Army is an active armed group opposing the Pakistani government, having previously carried out attacks against state forces.
