KABUL: A number of residents of Los Angeles have said they were experiencing “hell on earth” as extensive wildfires continue to ravage the city.
American media outlets, reported on Wednesday night, calling these as the most critical hours of the ongoing fires.
According to SBC News, the wildfire’s has expanded from 3,000 acres to 15,000 acres overnight, destroying the belongings of residents before their eyes.
Dry weather and strong winds have been cited as the primary reasons for the rapid spread of the fire.
California officials have declared a state of emergency, focusing their efforts solely on saving lives, as they can’t do anything for the protection of their properties.
More than 30,000 residents have been evacuated from their homes, according to officials.
So far, the number of casualties and damages is not clear.
