10,000 buildings destroyed in U.S. wildfires

KABUL: According to U.S. media, as a result of widespread and unprecedented wildfires in California, 10,000 residential and commercial buildings have been destroyed.

As of Friday night, despite air and ground operations, the fires have not been extinguished.

It is reported that the wildfires in Los Angeles have claimed the lives of over 10 individuals and displaced nearly 200,000 others, leaving them homeless.

President Joe Biden has declared these extensive wildfires a “national disaster.”

Robert Luna, an official in Los Angeles, has likened the recent fires in the state to an atomic bomb, suggesting that the number of victims may continue to rise.

While nearly 200,000 people have been evacuated from their homes in Los Angeles, an additional 200,000 have received evacuation orders.

This wildfire event is described as unprecedented in U.S. history.
