OCHA: Climate crisis increases humanitarian needs in Afghanistan


KABUL: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported that the climate crisis has significantly increased humanitarian needs in Afghanistan.

The office stated that Afghanistan requires more than just humanitarian assistance; the country is also affected by the crisis of climate change. In its report, OCHA highlighted that the climate change crisis has had detrimental effects on the crops of Afghan farmers.
