KABUL: Donald Trump, the elected President of the United States, has stated that he will meet “very quickly” with Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, after assuming his position.
In response to a question from Newsmax regarding his strategy to end the war, Trump remarked, “It depends on Putin, and I can’t imagine he would be very happy with what has happened, as this situation has not been good for him either.”
This meeting would be the first meeting between U.S. and Russian leaders since the beginning of the war in Ukraine in February 2022.
