14 more Afghans released from Pakistani jails, ministry

KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has said in a statement that 14 Afghan prisoners were released from Pakistani jail and returned home.

“The individuals were detained in Nushki, Balochistan, due to the lack of legal documents and after spending 15 days in prisons, released and returned to the country through Torkham crossing,” said the statement.

The Afghan returnees have been provided with humanitarian assistance by the cooperating organization in the country.
