Afghanistan’s exports increased by over $34 million

KABUL: The National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA), said that the value of the country’s exports reached $669.9 million in the third quarter of the ongoing solar year, while imports reached $3.25 billion.

According to a statement from NSIA, there has been an increase of $34.9 million in export value compared to the previous year, while imports have risen by $1.075 billion.

“Dried and fresh fruits were the largest share of exports, valued at $321.9 million,” said the statement.

The National Statistics and Information Authority continuously collects data on the country’s export and import figures from relevant institutions and shares accurate statistical information with national and international organizations.
