Dispatch of Afghan workers among issues discussed in Labor Minister, Russian ambassador meeting in Kabul

KABUL: Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, the Acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, met with Dmitry Zhirinov, the Russian Ambassador to Kabul, spokesman of the ministry said in a videotape on Wednesday.
In the meeting, Minister Omari discussed the dispatch of Afghan workers to the Russian Federation, emphasizing the need for the establishment of technical working groups to achieve mutual agreements.
Pointing to Russia’s importance in the region and the marketing of Afghan agricultural products in that country’s markets, Minister Omari also called for Russia traders’ investment in Afghanistan.
The statement quoted the Russian Ambassador as saying that significant progress has been made between Kabul and Moscow in the trade sector.
Ambassador Dmitry noted that Russia is working not only on investments from Russian traders in Afghanistan but also on facilitating Afghan traders’ investments in Russia.
