KABUL: The meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was held to discuss issues on the agenda, the office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs said in a statement on Wednesday.
Investment proposals from the private sector, construction of commercial, fruits and vegetables markets in Kabul and Balkh and the development of an electronic system for registering and verifying official documents have been discussed in the meeting, said the statement.
According to the statement, the meeting tasked the relevant committees to conduct technical meetings with the proposing companies and submit their reports to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee within the specified deadlines, the statement said.
