KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a statement on Monday, condemned recent remarks of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist Israel regime, regarding the denial of an independent Palestinian state and the relocation of Palestinians to Saudi Arabia.
“The denial of the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is in contradiction to the realities on the ground, and the relocation of Palestinians to Saudi Arabia is a violation of the sovereignty of that country,” said the statement.
The foreign ministry called the Zionist Israeli Prime Minister’s remarks an insult to international norms and interpreted them as a refusal to recognize the legitimate rights of Palestinians.
The Islamic Emirate emphasized that the ongoing occupation of Gaza and the violation of Palestinian rights is not to the benefit of anyone.
It is worth noting that the Israeli Prime Minister recently stated that Saudi Arabia should establish a new country for Palestinians on its territory.
His remarks have been met with strong reactions from Islamic countries.
