KUALA LUMPUR: The acting ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Malaysia, Naqibullah Ahmadi, met with Aminuddin Zulkepli, the Director General of the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority of Malaysia, the embassy said in a statement on its X account.
In the meeting, both sides discussed various issues, including the development of trade in agricultural products between Afghanistan and Malaysia.
The Director General of Malaysia expressed interest in promoting Afghan products, particularly dried and fresh fruits, in the Malaysian markets.
According to the statement, the Malaysian agricultural authority assured that it would facilitate coordination between local and foreign traders, as well as provide support in various other related areas.
