KABUL: The spokesman of the Ministry of Higher Education Hafiz Ziaullah Hashimi said today that an International Water Conference is scheduled to be held in Kabul tomorrow [Monday, February 24].
According to Hashimi, the conference will take place at Kabul Polytechnic University, located in Karte Mamorin.
High-ranking officials from the Islamic Emirate are expected to attend the event, he said, adding university professors, domestic and international water experts, and scholars have also been invited to the conference. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has been making serious efforts to manage the country’s waters in the past three years.
