KABUL: At least 17 people have been arrested over various crimes in provinces, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement.
“The Ministry’s personnel during various operations detained 17 individuals in connection with the theft, trafficking, and keeping of illegal weapons in Laghman, Herat, Nimroz, Khost, Samangan and Baghlan provinces,” said the statement.
According to the statement, the detainees after the primary investigation handed over to the judicial organ for further investigation into their files.
Previously, the country’s security forces arrested numerous suspects in various provinces, including the capital Kabul.
