KABUL: The High Commission for the Addressing of Migrant and Returnee Issues said in a statement today that nearly 483 Afghan migrants have been forcibly deported from neighboring countries in a single day.
According to the statement, 63 deported families including 231 individuals through Islam Qala port in Herat province and 41 families including 182 individuals via Pul-e-Abresham in Nimroz province entered Afghanistan.
Also, 17 families including 70 individuals entered the country via Spin Boldak in Kandahar province.
The returned Afghan migrants after registering received cash assistance, said the statement.
