KABUL: Local officials in Torkham said that Afghan defense forces destroyed a Pakistani military post during a retaliatory attack last night, resulting in the deaths of eight soldiers.
The sources added that there were no casualties on the Afghan side and that the response attack by Afghan defense forces was successful.
This incident occurs amidst rising tensions between the two countries over the construction of posts near Torkham Gate.
