PUL-E-KHUMRI: Baghlan’s sugar production factory officially started operations, local officials confirmed.
The factory was inaugurated today in the presence of government officials
Dr. Najibullah Dorandesh, the executive director of the Baghlan sugar factory, stated that the factory had resumed production following the completion of its reconstruction.
According to him, the factory will produce between 700 to 800 tons of sugar daily.
He also added that the operation of the factory has created direct employment for dozens of individuals and indirect opportunities for hundreds more.
The reconstruction of the Baghlan state-owned sugar factory began last year under the auspices of Emirati companies, with the presence of government officials.
