KABUL: The Technical Committee of the Economic Commission of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in its Tuesday meeting approved the draft policies for salt and the processing and export of mineral resources.
The meeting, which was Held at the Marmarine Palace, the relevant ministries were instructed to include the views of the Ministry of Water and Energy in the draft of these policies and to submit them to the Economic Commission for final decision-making, the deputy PM office said in a statement.
According to the statement, a decision was also made regarding the activation of the existing cold storage at the Shorab Military Airport in Helmand province, and the relevant ministry was tasked with identifying a suitable company for this purpose and to present the contract for approval to the Economic Commission.
