KABUL: The Police personnel of the Ministry of Interior have discovered and seized 6,299 kilograms of narcotics in Takhar province, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The drugs type of opium, which was professionally placed in a gas tanker, discovered and seized by the counter-narcotics police personnel of the province, said the statement.
Also, the Ministry of Interior mentioned that two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.
The Ministry of Interior Affairs’ efforts in counter-narcotics have been praised by the neighboring countries.
