KABUL: The meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was held, approving a proposal for the construction of a commercial market in Balkh province, the deputy PM office for Economic Affairs said in a statement on Wednesday.
In the meeting, two proposals were presented for discussion: one regarding the construction of a commercial market by the private sector on land belonging to the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs in Balkh province, and another concerning the liquefied gas industry, said the statement.
According to the statement, after a comprehensive discussion, the proposal for constructing a commercial market on the land of the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs in Balkh province was approved and referred to the Economic Commission for the final decision.
Also, regarding the proposal for the liquefied gas industry presented by Iranian investors, a designated committee was assigned to conduct technical discussions with the proposing company and submit its report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee within the specified time.
