Hajj quotas distributed fairly among all provinces, Hajj Minister

KABUL: Dr. Shaikh Noor Mohammad Saqib, the Acting Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs, stated that this year’s Hajj quotas have been distributed fairly among all provinces of the country.
Minister Saqib made the remarks during a press conference today at the Government Media and Information Center.
He also reported the completion of the examination process for Hajj teachers, noting that qualified scholars will participate as teachers for applicants in the 1404 Hajj season.
Shaikh Noor Mohammad Saqib said the contract for transportation of Hajj applicants have been signed with the Ariana Afghan Airlines and Kam Air.
He urged Hajj applicants to begin paying their Hajj fees starting next Sunday.
Furthermore, he added that a guidebook has been printed in Dari and Pashto based on the Hanafi school of thought to facilitate the process for applicants.
It is expected that over 30,000 individuals from Afghanistan will participate in the Hajj in the 1404 solar year, and efforts are ongoing to increase this number.
