‘We will not negotiate under pressure and intimidation,’ Araqchi

KABUL: Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, stated on his X account that the country will not negotiate with the United States under conditions of pressure and intimidation.
He emphasized that Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful and that there is fundamentally no such thing as “potential militarization.”
He reiterated that Iran’s nuclear program has always been and will remain peaceful.
According to Araqchi, whenever Iran has been treated with respect in the past, it has reciprocated with respectful behavior.
This statement comes in the wake of recent comments from the U.S. President offering to negotiate with Iran regarding its nuclear program.
