KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in a statement today welcomed the signing of a border marking agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
“Resolving the long-standing border disputes between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan is a significant step towards stability, regional economic growth, and mutual trust,” said the statement.
“The Islamic Emirate consistently supports peace, understanding, and the expansion of regional cooperation,” said the statement adding that the agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan marks a new chapter of lasting peace and collaboration in Central Asia.
