KABUL: Following U.S. airstrikes on Houthi positions in Yemen, the country’s Ministry of Health said on Saturday that more than 20 individuals have been killed and injured.
According to the ministry, 13 people were killed, and nine others were injured in the attacks, which targeted several locations in the capital, Sana’a.
State media in Yemen also reported the occurrence of the U.S. airstrikes against Houthi positions in the capital.
The strikes were carried out under the orders of President Donald Trump, targeting various facilities associated with Houthi forces.
According to Reuters, Trump personally announced the attacks in a message on the social media platform “Truth Social.” He stated that these strikes were a response to the targeting of U.S. vessels in the Red Sea by Houthi forces.
