Work on water supply project begins in Ghazni

KABUL: Construction work on a water supply project worth over 7.3 million Afghanis has been kicked off in the Moqur district of Ghazni province, the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of the province said in a statement today.

The project included the construction of a water reservoir with a capacity of 60 cubic meters, the installation of more than 130 water taps, the installation of several solar panels, and the installation of nearly 7,000 meters of piping, said the statement.

With the completion of the project, safe drinking water will be provided to 260 families.

No details have been provided about the financial support of the project.
