KABUL: Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, in a statement today rejected the report of Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani’s resignation and called it propaganda.
While officially rejecting the aforementioned news, Qani asked the media outlets to comment based on facts.
“Media should not use propaganda that is far from reality as a source of publication and dissemination,” he said adding that reliance on propaganda in the dissemination of information could lead to confusion among the public.
It is worth mentioning that reports regarding the resignation of Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani have been circulating in various media outlets for the past few days.
