KABUL: Khabib Ghafran, spokesperson for the Ministry of Information and Culture, on the occasion of National Journalists’ Day, in a video clip announced that the ministry supports all necessary matters for journalists in their work.
“The ministry’s support includes facilitating coordination among departments, addressing economic challenges faced by media outlets, and handling complaints from media and journalists,” he said.
Currently, the media situation is improving in the country, he said adding that work is underway on a mechanism for a financial support fund for journalists, which is expected to be established soon.
He urged journalists and media outlets to conduct their activities within the framework of journalistic principles.
According to the country’s calendar, today, March 17 coincides with [Hot 27] is National Journalists’ Day.
