KABUL: In response to the deadly Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip, Houthi forces from Yemen have targeted an Israeli military base as part of their retaliation for the suffering of the people of Gaza, Reuters reported on Tuesday night.
“The military base was struck with ballistic missiles in reaction to the massacre of the people in Gaza,” Reuters quoted Yahya Saree, spokesperson of Houthi forces as saying.
He warned that if the Israeli regime continued its attacks on Gaza, the scope of retaliatory strikes against Israel would expand.
According to Saree, the Houthi forces cannot remain indifferent to the massacre of innocent Palestinians in Gaza.
Videos shared from this missile attack show sirens sounding in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, as residents hurriedly seek shelter, and so far there is no information regarding casualties or damage resulting from this missile attack.
The Israeli military has also claimed that it intercepted the ballistic missiles launched from Yemen.
