KABUL: Following a large fire in part of London, the capital of the United Kingdom, operations at Heathrow Airport have been suspended.
Reuters reported that the fire occurred today (Friday, March 21) near the airport.
According to the report, an extensive fire broke out in the North Hyde electrical building and is so widespread that dozens of firefighters have been deployed to control it.
Information regarding potential casualties and damages from the fire has not yet been released.
Heathrow Airport is recognized as the fifth-largest airport in the world and one of the busiest airports in Europe.
