KABUL: Hafiz Anas Haqqani, brother of the acting Minister of Interior Affairs Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, has welcomed the U.S. decision to revoke the reward placed on Islamic Emirate high-ranking officials, describing it as a significant political achievement.
In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, Anas Haqqani welcomed the removal of the $10 million reward for Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani by the United States.
It is noteworthy that Hafiz Haqqani also stated that the United States made this move in exchange for the release of an American citizen by the Islamic Emirate.
