Four-day exhibition ‘Tajali-Ayat’ held in Herat

KABUL: The Ministry of Information and Culture said in a statement on Sunday, that a four-day Special Ramadan exhibition titled ‘Tajali-Ayat’ has been held in Herat province.
“The exhibition was held by the Calligraphers and Calligraphers Association in cooperation with the provincial Department of Information and Culture in the Allama Seljuqi Hall, showcasing 80 artworks, including calligraphy and paintings using Nastaliq, Shaskheta, Chalipa, and Thuluth scripts,” said the statement.
The purpose of holding the exhibition is to introduce various types of calligraphy lines and keep this art alive for those interested.
The Ministry of Information and Culture said that the “Tajali-Ayat” exhibition is one of the ongoing cultural programs in Herat province that is held annually.
