KABUL: Mohammad Sadiq Khan, Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, stated that the economic interests of the two countries are interdependent and emphasized that peace and stability in Afghanistan are essential for the benefit of the entire region.
The Pakistani Embassy in Kabul in a statement told Radio Omid, that the Pakistan special representative made the remarks during the raising of Pakistan’s flag at the embassy compound in Kabul yesterday on the occasion of Pakistan’s National Day.
In his address, Khan highlighted the importance of expanding trade between Afghanistan and Pakistan and strengthening regional connectivity.
Recently, Mohammad Sadiq Khan traveled to Kabul and met with several officials of the Islamic Emirate, during which he emphasized the expansion of relations between Kabul and Islamabad.
